The Manor House Wedding - Littleton, CO | Mike & Michelle| Colorado Wedding Photographer

As seen on Rocky Mountain Bride

Once again I hoped on a plane and headed back to Colorado to hang out with Mike and Michelle for their wedding day!

Michelle is a wedding coordinator by trade so I knew her wedding would be fantastic, but as I pulled up to the historic The Manor House I started to gleam with excitement. The breathtaking views of the Colorado foothills, the perfect amount of Southern charm and beautiful blue skies, I knew Mike and Michelle's southern wedding at The Manor House in Littleton, Colorado was going to be incredible.

Second to none, this venue was perfect for this Colorado wedding. Who wouldn’t want their family and friends to experience the historic venue and its incredible views of the Colorado foothills? Each room was decorated differently and allowed for a fun way to break up the space, and the views surrounding the property allows for guests to smell that fresh Colorado air.

Michelle and Mike shared their first look framed by the massive columns of the historic house. Her gown from the local Blue Bridal Boutique, and his navy suit from Jos. A. Banks were perfectly paired with their excitement as they laid eyes on each other at their first look. Michelle told me her stomach filled with butterflies and excitement as she walked towards Mike. Mike said: " My heart raced and skipped a little as the excitement built. When she tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around I was overwhelmed with excitement as I saw how beautiful she looked. "

The rich green lawn was covered in white chairs all filling with guests waiting to see Mike and Michelle say, “I do”. Floral arrangements with pops of peach were perfect for their bright, intimate ceremony on the back lawn of The Manor House. Standing before the rolling Colorado foothills stood the arch, where they would say their vows to each other. The arch was decorated with the same rich greenery and peach colored flowers as the chairs. Leaning against the arch was a pair of well-loved skis’, a nod to the couple’s favorite activity. Check out the lovely couple and their pup on the snow filled mountain at their Sapphire Point Engagement Session.

I asked Michelle how she felt as she walked down the aisle: "I felt all of my nerves disappear as I saw my handsome husband at the end of the isle. I also felt so proud of us and grateful to see everyone in the audience!"

And Mike felt "overwhelmed with nervous excitement thinking about how beautiful my bride looked, how many people came to see us married and what the future had in store for us."

Inside guests found their seats, with a mini jar of Bijorn’s Colorado Honey, at tables covered with bold bouquets from the local florist, Pots & Petals. Located in front of a flowing arch of flowers and greenery framed by crystal candelabras, sat the head table. A picturesque view of the happy couple as the guest and bridal party spoke with heart warming wishes for them.

As the sun set over the Colorado foothills, changing from a soft pink to a deep navy, guests gathered around fire pits on the porch of The Manor House. The fire crackled as Mike and Michelle danced their first dance as husband and wife. This historic southern wedding was an incredible summer wedding full of beauty and newlywed bliss.
