Becky + Raz, and their intimate wedding
Becky, Raz and their relaxed wedding should be the definition of industrial vibes. This downtown Stevens Point Wedding was absolutely radiant. Their wedding was small and intimate with guests being only the closest of friends and family. Raz is from Romania and his parents flew in to Wisconsin for this special event.
The relaxed industrial vibe wedding of course had to be held at the Pfiffner Building. This building is a large brick space with a warehouse feel. Perfect for their small relaxed intimate wedding. You see, Becky and Raz would describe themselves as very practical. Little fun fact: neither one of them proposed. They simply talked about one day getting married and decided one day they should just do it! The Pfiffner Building is located on the gorgeous Wisconsin River near historical Downtown Stevens Point.
The family style tables are wood and metal, decorated with white fabric draped down the middle to leave the wood and metal exposed. The arch was a beautiful handmade macrame by The House of Phoenix, hung on a copper arch constructed by Journey Eleven.
Becky's flowers are a hand tied with a copper satin ribbon. This Farm to Alter bouquet with freshly picked fall flowers have a hint of blush tones feature Dahlias- Peaches n Cream, Arabian Night, Cornel Bronze and include Lisianthus, Sedum, Gomphrena, Astilbe, Silver miscanthus grass, mixed with fresh greenery. This stunning collection was put together by Greens Flower Farm.
Becky and Raz's relaxed industrial wedding ceremony included a blessing from their pastor. Their Pastor tied a sash around their hands, literally tying the knot, symbolizing their lives being bound together in marriage. This ceremony is similar to and inspired by the Celtic ritual of hand-fasting. This wasn't the only special moment in their wedding. Becky and Raz also included their fur baby, Bailey. It was very important to them to include her in this special moment in their lives.
Remember how I mentioned that his parent flew in from Romania? Well some of Raz's other familiy members flew in from other areas around the world too. In fact his sister, who flew in from Reno, wanted to make the cake for her brothers wedding. So the night before Raz's sister and their mother worked together to create their fabulous wedding cake.
Once we escaped the reception to take some photos of the happy couple alone, I really got to experience the two of them having some fun together. During our portrait session Becky took a flower out of her bouquet and handed it to her husband. He took in the sweet smell of the flower, pausing for a moment, then placed the flower behind Becky's ear. He thought she looked so beautiful he just had to take a picture of her on his phone right then and there.
